This week, Leeds Baby Bank was recognised with the North Leeds Mumbler award for Best Charity for Local Families!
The North Leeds Mumbler award comes hot on the heels of another award for the charity. Leeds Baby Bank was awarded winner in the category of Overall Contribution to Making Leeds a Child Friendly City this summer.
The awards, hosted by Child Friendly Leeds, aim to highlight and celebrate those people, places and organisations that are dedicated to making Leeds a child friendly city. Across all award, there were 304 nominations, so it is a humbling reminder of how valued the work of team is to be one of the winners.
End of 2022 update
Leeds Baby Bank also won the Leeds Compassionate City Award for Community Organisation of the Year, making it a triple-whammy of awards in 2022 for the charity helping families in crisis. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen – supporters, volunteers and referral partners.
